Defining The Core Values
Our three Core Values are very simple. First, we believe that it is our responsibility to LOVE God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to LOVE others, as we love ourselves. Second, we believe that it is our responsibility to GROW and mature in Christ and with the Body of Christ. Third, we believe that we are called to SERVE God and others in order to fulfill the will of God.
Our Covenant Verse – “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28
LOVE – GOD & OTHERS
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ “This is [the] first and great commandment. “And [the] second [is] like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ – Mat 22:37-39 NKJV
GROW – IN GOD & WITH OTHERS
And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. – Luk 2:52 NKJV
Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary [principles] of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, – Heb 6:1 NKJV
From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. – Eph 4:16 NKJV
SERVE – GOD & OTHERS
As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. – 1Pe 4:10 NKJV
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. – Gal 6:2 NKJV
